City Rise Captain Matthew Bardsley returns to action for the Night ’n Day Otago Nuggets for 2022!!

Adrian Wojnarowki reports - ‘The Night ’n Day Otago Nuggets have acquired the signature of Matthew Bardsley for the upcoming 2022 season. The task proved difficult as there were multiple offers on the table for Bardsley including a 2 year Jockey contract from the Greenland Horse Racing Association, a 1 year contract to play goalie for the New Caledonian Freejacks Ice Hockey Team and also a 13 year lucrative deal to underwear model for Ralph Lauren.

When contacted for comment Bardsley said “The Nuggets really brought a lot to the table, there was classic kiwi dip and Wakachangi chips, lolly cake and those really good nectarine gummies, but at the end of the day those are my guys and I can’t wait to get on the court and put on a show for the loyal Dunedin fans”. - Woj
