City Rise Performance Awards '22

They say good things take time… They say good things come to those who wait… But what they didn’t tell you was that sometimes hangovers last 3 months before the presidential members can recover enough to publicly present the City Rise season awards for 2022.

An unprecedented season for City Rise, the club grew faster than a teenage boy covered in half a can of Lynx Africa. 6 teams took the court this season and their battles put Game of Thrones and Lord of The Rings to shame. When the final whistles blew, the City Rise Spitfires, City Rise Stealth Bombers & City Rise Skyblazers all etched their name in the history books by putting championships in the trophy cabinet, for City Rise’s first ever gold. Proudly hydrated by H2yo, those listed below were celebrated and those celebrations were bigger than when Leo won his first Oscar. With no better time for an exclusive interview, the President and Co-President were interviewed the morning after awards night at 8am. President Tom Gallaher stated “Sheesh, I couldn’t be more proud of the club, what a season but I think I’m wearing Matty Bardsley’s blazer and James Collins Undies”. Vice-President Aj Auld-Beverley was approached for comment at 8am but was found in the hallway asleep with only his socks on and holding a championship trophy.
